The Weekend Winner is a weekly update here on Caught on Set. Every Monday we will post pictures from the set of the movie that wins the box office battle over the weekend.

Yet again an animated feature won over the audiences at the box office. Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth installment in the Ice Age franchise won this weekend's box office battle after pulling in more than $46 million.

It was quite the impressive weekend for the animated film as it worked its way to a higher 3-Day total than the last movie in the franchise, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. I guess children and their parents are eager to see what happens next with Manny, Diego and Sid. I did not get to theaters to see Ice Age yet, but I did go out to see Savages and Ted. I loved both movies and can't believe they are so low on the weekend box office draw. If you haven't seen Savages, you really need to. Unless you are too young to see it, in which case it is way too mature for you.

A Look Back: "Ice Age: Continental Drift"

“A Look Back” is a series of posts we here at Caughtonset.com feature weekly. It’s as simple as the title makes it sound. Each Friday we will take “A Look Back” to the set of a newly released film. Look at pictures from the set today, then watch the movie tonight.

This week we take a look back at the making of Ice Age: Continental Drift. The latest animated film to hit theaters this summer has a familiar look to it. This will be the fourth installment of the Ice Age franchise and I bet Fox is hoping the upward trend continues. According to Ray Subers at Boxofficemojo.com:

"This is only the second significant animated franchise to reach a fourth installment following the Shrek series, and each subsequent chapter has been more successful than the previous one for Ice Age. The most recent entry, 2009's Dawn of the Dinosaurs, earned a very good $196.6 million domestically while setting a foreign animated record with an outstanding $690.1 million haul. It was also well-liked for the most part, scoring a 7.0 rating on IMDb."

I'm not really a fan of the Ice Age franchise so far. Perhaps all of the added voice talent will make this installment the best yet. If you go see this movie, you can expect to hear the voices of Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Aziz Ansari, Joy Behar, Peter Dinklage, Nick Frost, Josh Gad, Jennifer Lopez, Drake, Keke Palmer and Queen Latifah. Just to name a few.

DJ Khaled "Takes it to the Head"

Last week Cash Money's DJ Khaled was joined by several of Hip Hop's finest on the set of his new music video for the track "Take it to the Head." In addition to rappers Rick Ross and Drake, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj were seen on set in Los Angeles. DJ Khaled tweeted:

"#TAKEITTOTHEHEAD video dir by @ColinTilley be ready for a movie!! STAY TUNED!"

With all of the talent around this video shoot I wouldn't bet against them being able to make a pretty damn good movie. Hopefully the music video lives up to the hype.
