Naomi Watts

Naomi Watts was seen playing Princess Diana for the new film Diana in Hertfordshire. Watts stepped out of her limo and waved to a whole crowd of extras. Every time I see her on the set of this movie she looks more and more like Princess Di. I know no one can live up to the legacy that the Princess left behind, but at least Watts looks the part.

Did they run out of money in the wardrobe department? Is that why they needed to borrow the costumes from Pirates of the Caribbean? I'm pretty sure that homeboy on the right side of this picture was in the Curse of the Black Pearl. That's one thing that perhaps some of our visitors from the other side of the pond can help explain for me. I don't understand how some of the uniforms have carried over through time. I mean is that dude's uniform really necessary? I bet there are plenty of fashion designers in the World who could through to something that would be so much more fabulous.

Naomi Watts is seen playing the part of Princess Diana for the new film Diana in Hertfordshire. A few more details about the film have been coming out about the biopic. From MovieFix:

"Diana, formerly titled Caught in Flight, will tell the story of the two-year relationship between the People's Princess and Dr Khan, which ended just months before Diana's tragic death in August 1997.

The filmmakers came to me, and it's a good script and it's very scary and I kind of wanted to say 'no' but I couldn't," Naomi said."

I really didn't know that the movie would be telling that story about Princess Di. Actually I didn't know anything about that story in real life either. It always seemed like everything about her life was widely reported, but I guess I just missed this one. Am I the only one who didn't know anything about this relationship?

Last week a body double was spotted standing in for Naomi Watts on the set of Diana. Watts is playing the late Princess Diana in the upcoming biopic about her life.

Ok I guess the headline was a little misleading. But the answer to the headline is no. That is not Naomi Watts looking like Princess Di. Although Watts has been seen on set looking like her previously, that isn't her in the headline picture. I feel like we've been had, hoodwinked and maybe even bamboozled.
