"X Factor" Auditions in Kansas City

Louis Walsh, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid

The X Factor made its way to Kansas City, Missouri on June 9th. L.A. Reid and guest judge Louis Walsh were joined by this seasons two new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. I can't wait to see how the new season is with Britney and Demi on board. Although things haven't been going so well for Britney so far. From winnipegfreepress.com:

"Britney Spears' 'X Factor' walkouts are "embarrassing" show bosses.

The 'Toxic' singer has stepped out of auditions twice and sources close to show supremo Simon Cowell say he is worried paying the pop star $15 million to take a role on the panel was not worth the trouble she is causing."

That's too bad that Britney hasn't been making the most of her time and talent on this show. Especially since she is making $15 million to do this job. At least the rest of the judges are keeping their stuff together. Hopefully Britney can figure out her stuff and get it straight. The new season is set to air in September of this year. We can't wait!

Demi Lovato is spotted filming an interview with Extra's Mario Lopez at The Grove in Hollywood earlier this week (October 11). Glad to see she's doing well again!

Demi - who check into rehab earlier this year to deal with an eating disorder - told Parade that she is doing much better:

"I'm in a much happier and healthier place now, so I'll be able to decide when I need time off. It's a different era in my career. I'm sure that if I need time off I'll be able to speak about it and I'll take a step back.

"I just realized that once I went into the treatment center, pretty much anything and everything was going to come out anyway. At the same time, I wanted to help other people who shared my issues."
