Dawn Olivieri

Dawn Olivieri is spotted on the set of The Vampire Diaries in Georgia last Friday (July 15). Dawn plays Andie Star on the show, a local newscaster and love interest of Damon's (Ian Somerhalder).

Nina Dobrev was also seen on set last Tuesday - the official kick-off day for production of Season 3 (check out the pics here).

Glad to see Dawn back on the show (she hasn't been seen since Damon told her to leave and never come back during season 2) and it sounds like she is too. On Friday, she tweeted: "My my my....4am finally going to sleep...what a long day! Saw a LOT of Mr Smolder today ladies...a LOT "

FYI, "Mr Smolder" is her funny nickname for Ian.

Dawn Olivieri is seen on the set of House of Lies in New York on Saturday (2/6). You may recognize Dawn from NBC's Heroes where she played the "Painted Lady" Lydia. Kristen Bell and Don Cheadle were also spotted on set (here and here).

"[House of Lies] is a comedy about management consultants that takes a very subversive and timely look at how big business really operates in this country," Showtime president David Niven said about said earlier this year.

Olivieri will play Cheadle's "crazy, pill-popping" ex-wife and main professional rival in the series. Wow, this already sounds like a must-TiVo!
