Robert De Niro, Cybill Sheperd and Martin Scorsese

Throwback Thursday is a weekly update that we do here on Caught on Set. Every Thursday we post pictures from the set of a movie you haven’t seen in a while, or possibly ever.

Today we have behind the scenes photos from yet another of Hollywood's greatest films. Taxi Driver, released in 1976, was written by Paul Schrader who also wrote Raging Bull and American Gigolo among many others. Martin Scorsese was put in charge to direct only his 4th feature length film of his legendary career. Robert De Niro, Cybill Sheperd and a 12 year old Jodie Foster. From IMBD.com:

"A mentally unstable Vietnam war veteran works as a nighttime taxi driver in New York City where the perceived decadence and sleaze feeds his urge to violently lash out, attempting to save a teenage prostitute in the process."

If you haven't seen the film, Jodie Foster plays the teenage prostitute character that De Niro's Character Travis Bickle tries to save. In 1997 the AFI named Taxi Driver as the 47th best film of all time. It truly is a great movie and a classic. If you haven't seen it yet you really should.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Colin Egglesfield

Colin Egglesfield, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Rebecca Field have been busy working on the set of their new show The Client List. They have also been busy posting pictures from the different locations around Los Angeles to their twitter accounts over the past two weeks. Egglesfield tweeted:

"@TheReal_Jlh acts, produces, and now directing our last ep. Is there anything she can't do? Amazing job today Jen! Can't wait for tomorrow!"

Like Colin we also wonder if there is anything she can't do? We do know she can handle all of that and still look amazing and of course Colin doesn't look horrible either. I don't know if the two co-stars are dating off screen, but they would certainly make a cute couple.

Also seen on set was the legendary Cybill Shepherd who plays JLH's mother on the show.
