Matthew Gubler and Shemar Moore Play Guns ON "Criminal Minds" Set

Shemar Moore did all of us a huge favor and tweeted a couple of pictures from the set of his hit TV show, Criminal Minds. Moore and co-star Matthew Gubler, who is listed on IMDB.com as Matthew Gray Gubler. Moore tweeted:

I wonder why Shemar didn't write his middle name in the tweet? Nevermind, it was twitter you only get so much space. It sure looks like they are having a whole lot of fun on set though. I sure hope those things are fake or at least not loaded. Kirsten Vangsness was also in one of the tweeted pictures.

Tricia Helfer does "Criminal Minds"

Tricia Helfer of Battlestar Galactica fame will make a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of the CBS drama Criminal Minds. She is barely recognizable in this picture posted earlier this week by CM SetReport. If she hadn’t posted this the same day on her twitter account I might not have believed it was her:

"Gonna be sporting a different look for #CriminalMinds Fun to change things up."

It certainly is a different look. There aren’t too many details around the web as to what character she’ll be playing in the season 7 finale. According to TV Line, she did say she would be playing a bad character when they caught up with her at the Genesis Awards on March 24. After reading CBS’ official summary of the finale which reads, “When a federal bank is under attack, the BAU is called to negotiate a hostage situation. As events unfold in real-time, tensions rise as one of the team becomes a hostage.” Wow - I wonder if she’ll be a hostage or the one taking hostages? I know I wouldn’t mind being her captive. The finale is set to air May 16.

Patricia Cornwell stops by the set of "Criminal Minds"

Novelist Patricia Cornwell, Marissa Armijo, Paget Brewster, and Matthew Gray Gubler are spotted on the set of Criminal Minds in Los Angeles earlier this week (November 1). The episode being produced this week is called True Genius and will be the 11th of the current 7th season.

Cornwell is actually guest-starring as herself on the episode. After filming was completed, Conrnwell - who in 2008 was the first American author to receive the prestigious British Book Awards' "Crime Thriller of the Year" award for her novel Book of the Dead - tweeted: "It's a wrap! Cast & crew of #CriminalMinds were fantastic."

A.J. Cook and Shemar Moore: Put your dukes up!

A.J. Cook and Shemar Moore are spotted on the set of Criminal Minds last week in Los Angeles. The two are filming a boxing-themed episode called The Bittersweet Science, hence A.J. with her dukes up.

A.J. isn't just playing around by having her fists up - she really wants to get beat up this season! She told TV Guide:

"I have volunteered to get beat up! I want to get into a really bad fight this year. I'm like, 'Everyone else has gotten the crap beaten out of them! It's JJ's turn!'"

Shemar Moore is seen showing off his abs on the set of Criminal Minds last week in Los Angeles (August 12). Yeah, I guess you could say he's seen a gym or two in his life!

Season 7 of Criminal Minds premiere September 21. What's especially exciting for fans is that Paget and A.J. Cook are back on the drama as series regulars. Paget told TVLine that it's great to be back:

"It felt like the band's back together, yeah!"

Shemar Moore and A.J. Cook: Ice cream break!

Shemar Moore and A.J. Cook are spotted enjoying a little ice cream break on the set of Criminal Minds in Los Angeles last Friday (July 15). A.J. tweeted the pic and wrote: "BACON ICE CREAM!!!" Yum!

A.J. also tweeted a fun pic of her, Kirsten Vangsness, and Paget Brewster, and said: "I have no idea what we are doing but I love my ladies @Vangsness @pagetpaget." Check it out in the gallery.

Criminal Minds showrunner Erica Messer revealed earlier this month that the relationship between JJ (Cook) and Hotch (Thomas Gibson) will be "explored" in the upcoming seventh season:

"There is a relationship there... that we think is worth exploring. It's nothing romantic, but there's definitely a bond that these two have... that doesn't come along very often."

Shemar Moore and A.J. Cook are caught on set filming Criminal Minds in Los Angeles last Friday (July 8). If FBI agents are that cute, I may have to become a criminal!

It was definitely a late night for the Criminal Minds cast. Thomas Gibson - who plays Hotch on the show - tweeted a pic of a smiling Shemar and said: "3a and still flossy!"

Don't miss this month's issue of Maximum Fitness, which features Shemar on the cover. In the interview, the actor reveals how he cheated death during a bike ride in Hollywood a few years ago:

"It was the scariest moment of my life. On that day, I did everything right. What went wrong was that I got hit by a 70-year-old in an old-school Cadillac going 40 miles per hour! I didn't see him or hear him coming—not a thing. I felt him coming. I don't remember spinning or flipping off my bike—nothing. I got lucky—and then some."
