"Cougar Town" star Courteney Cox on set

Courteney Cox is spotted on the set of Cougar Town last week in Los Angeles (August 25). The series has been a surprise hit since it debuted two years ago.

Courteney's co-star Busy Philipps was also spotted on set - check out some pics here.

Even though Courteney split from husband David Arquette last October, the couple hasn't given up hope. Arquette told CNN earlier this month:

"At some point we'll have to make a decision about stuff, but we're still in the self-discovery process. That's a great example of figuring out what [our relationship] means to us and not really falling in to what society says it's supposed to be. For us, we're very honest with each other. We don't really talk about other people, if we're seeing other people or involved with other people. We're allowed to see other people, but now we're focusing on what our needs are, and if we're compatible as a couple."

Busy Philipps and Courteney Cox are spotted on the set of Cougar Town in Los Angeles last week (August 18). Busy was seen wearing an ankle monitor. Wonder if she'll be under house arrest in the new season?

Courteney's doing a little something different for a Cougar Town episode next season - she's directing! Busy told E! that she has the utmost confidence in her co-star:

"She's going to make an amazing director! She's so organized and she's always got her binders and her basket with all of her little notes in it…She's been on television for such a long time and she I think inherently understands how to make things funny, or funnier."

Courteney Cox loves cocktails!

Oh wow - check out Courteney Cox downing a massive mixed drink on the set of the always funny Cougar Town yesterday. Also seen is super-hunk Josh Hopkins cheering on his funny co-star on location in Oahu, Hawaii (Mar 3).

Hopkins plays Cox's neighbor and boyfriend on the show. The actress recently spoke with the UK tabloid Metro about the couple's on-screen relationship:

"I think it's just a new approach. It's a functioning relationship, but with two kind of really non-functioning people in some ways. I mean, Grayson doesn't really know how to have a relationship."

The whole crew has been enjoying the beautiful island of Oahu for the last couple days. New episodes of Cougar Town return to ABC on April 18. I can't wait!

Courteney Cox and a bikini-clad Busy Philipps are seen yesterday on the set of Cougar Town in Oahu, Hawaii (Mar. 1). Both Courteney and Busy were also spotted in bikinis on set on Tuesday (pics here and here).

Looks like Courteney's knee is feeling better. She was spotted using a cane last month after surgery.

At the Winter TCAs in January, Courteney revealed that Cougar Town has really helped her deal with her split from husband David Arquette:

"Thank God for the show. There have been times that [Cougar Town creator] Bill [Lawrence] has said, 'Do you need to take a break?' And [I say] 'Are you kidding?' This is my saving grace."

Courteney Cox and Josh Hopkins are spotted yesterday filming Cougar Town on location in Oahu, Hawaii (Mar. 1). Courteney and the rest of the Cougar Town cast are filming the season two finale on the beautiful tropical island. Not bad work if you can get it!

Even though Courteney is most well known for her work on the hit show Friends, she recently told TV & Satellite Week that she feels no pressure to match its ratings success:

"I would probably take it very personally and blame myself if wasn't a success. But times are different now. There are many more channels for people to watch. We got huge ratings for Friends. It was crazy how many people used to watch it."

Courteney Cox and Dan Byrd are beach buddies

A joyful Courteney Cox and Dan Byrd are seen filming a fun beach scene for their hit show Cougar Town yesterday in Santa Monica (Feb 22).

The show is currently in hiatus, but is set to return to ABC on Monday, April 18, following an episode of Dancing with the Stars. The show will return to Monday nights the next week.

Cox's recent knee surgery will not affect the show. Producers are actually incorporating her cane and bum knee into an episode, a rep for Cox confirmed:

"The minor knee surgery was planned, [The cane] will be written into one episode of Cougar Town but will not affect the production schedule at all."

I hope when I am 46 I still look as good as Miss Cox, bum knee and all.

Courteney Cox and her Cougar Town co-star Brian Van Holt are caught on set filming the ABC comedy Wednesday in L.A. (Feb. 9).

In the scene, Cox and Holt rode along in a golf cart, pulling a man behind them in rollerblades. In between takes, Cox was seen walking with a cane due to her recent knee surgery.

Courteney recently told the Daily Telegraph that she's had to work hard to overcome the connotation of the Cougar Town title:

"Before it was like, 'I don't want to watch Cougar Town and Courteney Cox getting on to a younger guy every week' ... oh, please.

"It's not what the show was even then, but it did have a negative connotation. Now we just don't know how to get out of that title, we don't know what to do with it. It's terrible, so we just decided to make fun of it each week."
