More from the cast of "Glee" in New York

Cory Monteith is spotted leaving his trailer on the set of Glee in a rainy New York yesterday (April 28). Cory was on his way to Sardi's restaurant to film a scene with Lea Michele (you can see some pics of Lea in the gallery).

We've posted a TON of pics from Glee's visit to New York this week. Check 'em all out on the Glee page.

One person we haven't seen on location this week is Darren Criss (probably because he's a member of the rival glee club The Warblers). That doesn't mean we've forgot about him! Darren told E! earlier this week about the big prom episode coming up:

"We had a blast [shooting the prom]. Oh my god, we had these really, really long shooting days, three days in a row. And it was so much fun because it was really beautiful outside and everyone's dressed up. That was probably the funnest shooting days we had. They were really long, but we had lots of food and lots of just games—we were playing basketball. We had a blast."

The "Glee" guys on set

Had a post on Tuesday featuring the Glee girls on set - and now here's one featuring the Glee guys. That's Mark Salling, Cory Monteith, and Chord Overstreet doing some singing and dancing yesterday while filming the show at Lincoln Center in New York (April 27). Harry Shum Jr. and Lea Michele are also in a few of the pics. Check them out in the gallery.

According to TVLine, Broadway star Patti Lupone will be guest-starring on the final:

"Patti Lupone is currently shooting scenes with Lea Michele and another male costar who may or may not be Chris Colfer in midtown Manhattan for the show's Nationals-themed season finale. In the sequence, Rachel and (maybe) Kurt run into the Tony winner at iconic eatery Sardi's."

Lea is definitely excited about Patti's appearance. She tweeted: "On set right now working with one of my all time idols...another day where glee makes one of my dreams come true:)"

Cory Monteith and Lea Michele are spotted filming the season finale of Glee on Bow Bridge in Manhattan's Central Park yesterday (April 26). Flowers? Hmmmm, I wonder if Rachel and Finn are making a reconciliation?

Sounds like this New York episode is pretty much going to be the coolest thing ever. Regarding yesterday's shooting, Cory tweeted: "but in all seriousness, the New York mashup we are doing today will probably make your head explode. so awesome."

Can't wait!

Did You Know? Bow Bridge stretches across Central Park's Lake at its narrowest point. It has been featured in such films as Great Expectations (1946), Spiderman 3 (2007), Autumn in New York (2000), Uptown Girls (2003), You've Got Mail (1998), The Way We Were (1973), and Keeping the Faith (2000), just to name a few.

Kevin McHale and Amber Riley are spotted on the set of their hit Fox series Glee last week in Los Angeles (April 21). Also spotted on set that day were their co-stars Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Matthew Morrison, and Jane Lynch. Speaking of Chris Colfer, he was just named by Time as one of the 100 most influential people in the world! How exciting! You can check out his interview here in which he talks about his Golden Globe acceptance speech, the power of Glee, and standing up to bullies. Colfer's co-star Dianna Agron has a glowing write-up in the issue about him:

"Chris has wanted to be an actor, as he says, 'since I was an embryo,' which gave him the determination to say, 'Yes, I can,' despite the many who had said no. "Glee": mall day!

Chris Colfer and Lea Michele are seen filming their hit show Glee on location at Eagle Rock Plaza in Los Angeles last week (Mar. 30). Also spotted on set that day were a TON of other Glee stars: Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet, Harry Shum, and Jenna Ushkowitz. A big congrats are in order for the Glee cast, who scored their first airplay hits with two original songs they performed on the March 15 episode. "Loser Like Me" will hit the Adult Pop Songs airplay chart this Thursday at #37 and "Summer Rain" will hit the Adult Contemporary chart at #29.

WAJI (Ft. Wayne, Ind.) program director Barb Richards told Billboard that she is embracing the original songs:

"The show is huge and its music is popular, as shown by the sales. Still, I believe that people want to hear originals over remakes, so up until the Glee cast's original music it didn't make sense for us to play each latest cover, other than to spotlight it the day of the show."

Cory Monteith filming "Glee"

Cory Monteith is caught on set filming Glee last week in Los Angeles (3/26). Sounds like Cory and his Glee co-star Chord Overstreet are having a great time filming the new episode. Chord tweeted (@frankenteen is Cory's twitter): "Fun on set today fighting back and fourth with @frankenteen"

Chord also posted a pic of Brittany (Heather Morris) on set in a wheelchair (check it out in the gallery below). Hmm, wonder if she'll be doing a wheelchair duet with her boyfriend Artie (Kevin McHale)?

New York Magazine had a nice feature last week on Glee star Lea Michele and just how big a star she could become. A "senior network executive" told them:

"She's clearly a very talented young woman, an incredible singer and actress who can do both comedy and drama. Just like Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith, she's already doing films while still on the show, which is a smart move.

"There's no doubt that when the show is over, she will segue into features. She also certainly will have a music career. If they remake any of the Barbra Streisand musicals, she'll be at the top of the list. The world really is her oyster."
