Chris Pine was spotted on the set of of the Untitled Jack Ryan Project filming on location on Labor Day weekend in New York City. Filming on Labor Day? That is pure madness man. You aren't supposed to work on Labor Day. Like many American Holidays it is meant as a day to relax, take off work and get drunk as hell.

That sucks that all these people had to work. Not only was Chris Pine there, but so was Kevin Costner, Kenneth Branagh and the whole crew had to be there too. Pine even looks to be leaving his stunt double behind to ride the motorcycle himself, his day was even worse. I wonder if they get paid extra money for working on a Holiday like I did when I worked at Blockbuster?

Chris Pine and Kenneth Branagh are pictured on the set of Paramount Pictures' untitled Jack Ryan Project in New York City. Pine was either filming a scene where he had to run or he just decided to get in a quick jog between set ups.

That would not be a fun scene to shoot. It looks like it's pretty hot out there and he has to run around in sweatpants I couldn't imagine having to wear sweats! Ewwww. That's so old school. I've never been a fan of sweats, basketball shorts are the way to go if you need something to work out or just relax in.

Here are some more pictures of Chris Pine on the set of his new movie Welcome to People in Los Angeles (Feb 8). He is just so darn cute, I can look at his pics all day!

Because we can't get enough of him, here are some fun facts about Chris:

-he beat Mike Vogel for the role of Kirk in Star Trek
-he is one of Variety magazine's "Top Ten Actors to Watch"
-Us Weekly called him "the new Harrison Ford”
-has a degree in English from UC Berkeley.

Wow! Not only is he a talented actor, but he is smart too. Watch out fellas!

A handsome Chris Pine is seen taking a break on the set of Welcome to People in Los Angeles on Monday(Feb.7). Pine, along with his all-star cast, is getting ready to release this drama sometime in 2012. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!

In other Pine news, is he dating Supergirl Laura Vandervoort? According to Life & Style magazine, the two recently met on the set of their new drama This Means War and have been dating each other ever since. They have also been seen getting lunch together in West Hollywood. An insider "close to the couple" told the magazine "They're dating."

Can't wait till the wedding!

February 2 - Chris Pine is seen cruising around in an old Mercury Marquis on the set of his new film Welcome to People in Los Angeles. I don't think he was even born when that car was made!

It was just announced that Chris will be one of the lead voice roles in the upcoming DreamWorks 3D animated feature, Rise of the Guardians. The film, based on the upcoming series of picture books by William Joyce, follows a group of historical legends, each with their own unique talents and amazing abilities.

Hugh Jackman, Jude Law, Alec Baldwin, and Isla Fisher will also lend their voices.

January 20 -- Chris Pine is spotted on the set of Welcome to People in Downtown Los Angeles.

Also starring Olivia Wilde and Elizabeth Banks, the Alex Kurtzman-directed drama is about a man who has to deliver $150,000 of his dead father's fortune to a sister he has never met.

Kurtzman is best known for writing the blockbusters Star Trek, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Mission: Impossible III. Welcome to People will be his directorial debut. Not a bad cast for your first movie!
