Chris Colfer Is Back On The Set Of "Glee"

Chris Colfer was spotted filming scenes for Glee at Washington Square Park in New York City. Colfer was looking great and warm in a black Burberry Pea coat. The show was recently out on the east coast filming for a couple of days and we've got tons of pictures to share with you all week.

I love that coat Colfer is wearing. If only I lived in a place that was cold enough to need a coat of that type. It's so difficult to live in a city that is pretty much 75 degrees year round. At least it's difficult on your fashion sense. Often times I've wanted to buy an awesome coat, but what's the point if I'm only going to wear it once or twice a year?

Settle down all you Gleeks out there, we have several pics from the set of Glee in Los Angeles posted by different cast members over the past week. The headline picture featuring Chris Colfer and Darren Criss was tweeted by Lea Michelle:

Chris Colfer is "Struck by Lightning"

Chris Colfer is seen on the set of his new film Struck by Lightning in Los Angeles on Monday (July 18). Cool shades!

Red-headed beauty Christina Hendricks was also spotted on set on Monday - check out the pics here.

There was a huge cast shake-up on Glee last week when it was announced that Chris, Lea Michele, and Cory Monteith wouldn't be returning for Season 4 of the hit Fox show (i.e. the upcoming Season 3 will be their last). Chris told Access Hollywood that he was sort of blindsided by the announcement:

"[I found out] yesterday on Twitter. Yeah, I found out that they made that announcement. I didn't necessarily know that it was going to be our last season next year, I knew something like that was coming up eventually. I mean, we can't be there forever. I don't necessarily want to leave so soon, but I mean, it's fine. It's what it is. And all things come to an end."

It's a Chord Overstreet sandwich on set!

Chris Colfer, Chord Overstreet, and Mark Salling are spotted on the set of Glee earlier this week in Los Angeles (May 9). The pics were tweeted by Chord, who said, "Takin a nap on set!"

It's you missed Tuesday night's episode Prom Queen, you missed a good one. Puck (Salling), Sam (Overstreet), and Artie (Kevin McHale) covered Rebecca Black's surprise hit song Friday. It was AWESOME!

The Orange County Register has a new interview with former Brat Packer Eric Stoltz, who directed the Prom episode:

"It's the most fun I've had in a long time. I love directing young actors. Many actors have the experience of not having been directed very often or very well. For the most part, directors are technically proficient and a little bit afraid of the actors. So, having been an actor for a long time, I can see things from their perspective.

"Directing is something that I think i'm more suited for. I'm a better director than an actor. I love crews, I love talking to actors. After sitting in the trumpet section for many years, it's nice to have the whole score in front of you. You can either inspire or not. I've spent a great many years in the trenches of independent film. You learn a lot there. Television is actually much closer to the independent film process."

Chris Colfer and Lea Michele: Manhattan glam!

Chris Colfer and Lea Michele are seen filming Glee outside Tiffany & Co. in Manhattan on Wednesday (April 27). Lea was seen reading a note attached to a pair of keys on the window which read "Come and go as you please but stay with me always." Hmmm, based on the scene they shot yesterday, maybe it's from Finn (Cory Monteith)?

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Lea explained how she went through some MAJOR drama on her way to audition for the part of Rachel in Glee - she got into a car accident:

"I literally had chunks of glass that I pulled out of my hair and put on the table. I look back on that day and think, 'I can't believe I did that'. I left the car on the side of the road. But something came over me."

OMG! Glad she was okay - I couldn't imagine anyone else play Rachel!

Speaking of Chris Colfer, he was just named by Time as one of the 100 most influential people in the world! How exciting! You can check out his interview here in which he talks about his Golden Globe acceptance speech, the power of Glee, and standing up to bullies. Colfer's co-star Dianna Agron has a glowing write-up in the issue about him:

"Chris has wanted to be an actor, as he says, 'since I was an embryo,' which gave him the determination to say, 'Yes, I can,' despite the many who had said no. "Glee": mall day!

Chris Colfer and Lea Michele are seen filming their hit show Glee on location at Eagle Rock Plaza in Los Angeles last week (Mar. 30). Also spotted on set that day were a TON of other Glee stars: Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet, Harry Shum, and Jenna Ushkowitz. A big congrats are in order for the Glee cast, who scored their first airplay hits with two original songs they performed on the March 15 episode. "Loser Like Me" will hit the Adult Pop Songs airplay chart this Thursday at #37 and "Summer Rain" will hit the Adult Contemporary chart at #29.

WAJI (Ft. Wayne, Ind.) program director Barb Richards told Billboard that she is embracing the original songs:

"The show is huge and its music is popular, as shown by the sales. Still, I believe that people want to hear originals over remakes, so up until the Glee cast's original music it didn't make sense for us to play each latest cover, other than to spotlight it the day of the show."
