Tweeting from the Set of "Glee"

Settle down all you Gleeks out there, we have several pics from the set of Glee in Los Angeles posted by different cast members over the past week. The headline picture featuring Chris Colfer and Darren Criss was tweeted by Lea Michelle:

"Who wouldn't want to be in between these two boys.. "

Shania Twain, Chord Overstreet, and Taylor Swift are seen Monday in Nashville on the set of a Thelma & Louise-themed skit the three are filming for the CMT Music Awards (airing tonight).

Sounds like Chord enjoyed hanging out with two gorgeous women. He tweeted a pic of the trio together and said: "Had fun today in nashville with @taylorswift13 and shania. Good times ... A little thing I was Workin on yesterday, should be pretty funny. U wanna see it?? Watch the cmt awards [tonight]"

It's a Chord Overstreet sandwich on set!

Chris Colfer, Chord Overstreet, and Mark Salling are spotted on the set of Glee earlier this week in Los Angeles (May 9). The pics were tweeted by Chord, who said, "Takin a nap on set!"

It's you missed Tuesday night's episode Prom Queen, you missed a good one. Puck (Salling), Sam (Overstreet), and Artie (Kevin McHale) covered Rebecca Black's surprise hit song Friday. It was AWESOME!

The Orange County Register has a new interview with former Brat Packer Eric Stoltz, who directed the Prom episode:

"It's the most fun I've had in a long time. I love directing young actors. Many actors have the experience of not having been directed very often or very well. For the most part, directors are technically proficient and a little bit afraid of the actors. So, having been an actor for a long time, I can see things from their perspective.

"Directing is something that I think i'm more suited for. I'm a better director than an actor. I love crews, I love talking to actors. After sitting in the trumpet section for many years, it's nice to have the whole score in front of you. You can either inspire or not. I've spent a great many years in the trenches of independent film. You learn a lot there. Television is actually much closer to the independent film process."

The "Glee" guys on set

Had a post on Tuesday featuring the Glee girls on set - and now here's one featuring the Glee guys. That's Mark Salling, Cory Monteith, and Chord Overstreet doing some singing and dancing yesterday while filming the show at Lincoln Center in New York (April 27). Harry Shum Jr. and Lea Michele are also in a few of the pics. Check them out in the gallery.

According to TVLine, Broadway star Patti Lupone will be guest-starring on the final:

"Patti Lupone is currently shooting scenes with Lea Michele and another male costar who may or may not be Chris Colfer in midtown Manhattan for the show's Nationals-themed season finale. In the sequence, Rachel and (maybe) Kurt run into the Tony winner at iconic eatery Sardi's."

Lea is definitely excited about Patti's appearance. She tweeted: "On set right now working with one of my all time idols...another day where glee makes one of my dreams come true:)"

"Glee" filming at Bethesda Fountain

Chord Overstreet, Dianna Agron, Kevin McHale, and Harry Shum Jr. are seen filming Glee at Bethesda Fountain in Central Park yesterday (April 26). We've posted a TON of pics of the cast filming the season finale in New York this week. Check them all out on the Glee page.

Glee star Chris Colfer told Access Hollywood that filming in New York this week has been an absolute blast:

"It's been crazy and insane! There have been thousands and thousands of fans that have come to greet us. Every time one of us raises an arm they all go nuts. It's very supportive and very positive."

"Glee": mall day!

Chris Colfer and Lea Michele are seen filming their hit show Glee on location at Eagle Rock Plaza in Los Angeles last week (Mar. 30). Also spotted on set that day were a TON of other Glee stars: Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet, Harry Shum, and Jenna Ushkowitz. A big congrats are in order for the Glee cast, who scored their first airplay hits with two original songs they performed on the March 15 episode. "Loser Like Me" will hit the Adult Pop Songs airplay chart this Thursday at #37 and "Summer Rain" will hit the Adult Contemporary chart at #29.

WAJI (Ft. Wayne, Ind.) program director Barb Richards told Billboard that she is embracing the original songs:

"The show is huge and its music is popular, as shown by the sales. Still, I believe that people want to hear originals over remakes, so up until the Glee cast's original music it didn't make sense for us to play each latest cover, other than to spotlight it the day of the show."

Mark Salling and the rest of the "Glee" cast on set

Mark Salling is spotted heading back to his trailer during a break from filming Glee yesterday in Los Angeles (Feb. 24).

Along with the rest of the Glee crew, Kathy Griffin was also seen on set. She'll be playing one of the judges at Regionals. You can see all the pictures of everyone on set yesterday in the gallery below.

In what must have been a thrilling experience for the two, Mark and his Glee co-star Amber Riley (Mercedes) sung at the White House for President Obama last night. The two performed as part of a special set to air on PBS honoring Motown and Black History Month. Salling tweeted: "Shooting from 915am till 1130 pm, exhausting, waking up at 4 am to catch 6 am flight, devastating, performing for the president, priceless"

The Motown Sound: In Performance at the White House will have entertainers such as Jamie Foxx, Natasha Bedingfield, Sheryl Crow, Gloriana, Nick Jonas, Ledisi, John Legend,Smokey Robinson, Seal and Jordin Sparks as well as the President and the first lady. Check it out on March 1 on PBS.
