A smiley Amy Smart is seen on the set of her new ABC Family movie 12 Dates of Christmas in Toronto on Monday (Feb 28)

Smart is playing the lead role of Kate Stanton, a woman who lives Christmas Eve over and over until she finds true love. It sounds a lot like the Christmas version of Groundhog Day. ABC Family says of the movie:

"[The 12 Dates of Christmas] tells the story of the gorgeous but clueless Kate Stanton. Kate is stuck on winning back the affection of her jerk of an ex-boyfriend. After she falls down in a department store and is knocked unconscious, she becomes hopelessly stuck in a circular 'time warp' in which she is doomed to repeat her unfortunate Christmas Eve over and over until she can embrace true love and the spirit of Christmas."

I'm definitely watching this. I'm a sucker for romantic Christmas movies!
