A Look Back: "Magic Mike"

“A Look Back” is a series of posts we here at Caughtonset.com feature weekly. It’s as simple as the title makes it sound. Each Friday we will take “A Look Back” to the set of a newly released film. Look at pictures from the set today, then watch the movie tonight.

Magic Mike just might be one of the most anticipated movies of all time. At least of this year. By women. I don't think it's just me who can't contain myself waiting to see Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew Bomer and Channing Tatum play strippers. Magic Mike will be competing with several new releases, as well as Disney's Brave, for the number one slot at the box office.

Take it all off and you'll have every woman across the country rushing to see your movie. Sorry I got a little excited there. Oh I guess there are some actresses in the movie also. Some people named Riley Keough and Olivia Munn to name a few. I don't know why they are in there, just show us ladies the goods and we will all watch this movie...twice. Matthew told Esquire earlier this year why her prefers to vacation in out-of-the-way destinations as opposed to the glitz and glamor of Europe"

"You know why I don't go to Europe for these trips? Because in Europe everything pretty much works, or it almost works. I mean, it's almost what I'm used to. But Peru, Mali, Morocco? Nothing works. Nothing. So you have to give up on what you know. At least I do. And for a while it's very uncomfortable. Extremely. I mean you're faking the language as best you can, nodding at things you probably shouldn't be, and you start to miss the things you know. And you need to eat."

Alex Pettyfer is spotted on the set of Magic Mike in Los Angeles last Friday (September 23). I know Alex plays a stripper in this movie - is that a security guard uniform . . . or a stripper uniform?

Sounds like Alex really isn't too enthused about being an actor. He told VMAN magazine earlier this year:

"I really don't give a sh*t about any of that. I wish I had some interesting stories about living in L.A., but mostly I just do my work and then go home. Being an actor is like being in prison. You go, you serve your time, you try and replicate Johnny Depp's career and then you move to Paris."
