Brad Pitt is seen on the set of World War Z in Glasgow, Scotland last week (August 18). Glasgow is actually standing in as Philadelphia in the film (all the signs in the area near filming were changed to resemble those in Philly)
Brad's been filming the zombie flick since June (mainly in Malta) - check out the World War Z page for a bunch of pics from set.
Not everyone is happy about the city of Glasgow standing in for Philadelphia - like the real city of Philadephia! Philly.com has more:
"Don't expect staggering, flesh-eating, virus-revived corpses to add millions of dollars to Philadelphia's economy this summer. Blame uncertainties about state tax credits for filmmakers, says the head of the Greater Philadelphia Film Office. Imagine moviegoers seeing what looks like City Hall, except it's really Glasgow City Chambers at George Square, which - ouch! - was named for King George III, the very despot Philadelphia led the Revolution against."
