Kelly MacDonald films scenes for Boardwalk Empire in New York City June 13th. The scenes they are filming now are for the upcoming third season of the HBO hit drama. The show's creator, Terence Winter, spoke about the direction of the upcoming season. From zap2it.com:
"It's New Year's Eve 1922, going into 1923," creator Terence Winter said Thursday night (April 26) at an Academy of Television Arts and Sciences event. "The world has changed quite a bit. Things have gotten quite a bit more violent as Prohibition has gone on and people are running out of liquor. Hence Nucky's (Steve Buscemi) world is going to change."

I can't wait for this show to come back. It is one of my favorite shows of recent times and I can't wait to see where they take it. I was pretty shocked by the ending of the last season. I mean I guess I saw it coming for Jimmy (Michael Pitts), but I didn't see it happening in that way. The third season is scheduled to return to air in September of this year.
