On the set of "The Avengers"
Check out the crushed cars on the set of The Avengers in Cleveland, Ohio yesterday (August 10). But don’t worry, no cab drivers were hurt in the making of the set, lol – the “stone” is actually foam.
After shooting scenes in Sante Fe, New Mexico (pics here) and New York (pics here) earlier this year, The Avengers kicked off production this week in Cleveland. Expect the crew to be in town for a few weeks. Midwest Movie Maker has more about the production:
“A friend is excited to be an extra on the shoot, but he’s sworn to secrecy, so we want to respect that. What we can tell you is a lot you probably already anticipated: there will be explosions downtown, there will be a big battle downtown, and that battle will turn up on film somewhere near the end of the movie.”
