Al Pacino
Al Pacino is spotted on the set of his untitled HBO project in New York on Wednesday (July 6). Pacino plays legendary - yet troubled - music producer Phil Spector in the film (hence the crazy hair).
The director of the film, David Mamet, ignited a firestorm of controversy last month in an interview he did with the Financial Times. Mamet told the paper that he doesn't believe Spector killed actress Lana Clarkson in 2003 (he was convicted in 2009 and is currently serving 19 years to life in prison):
"I don't think he's guilty. I definitely think there is reasonable doubt. ... They should never have sent him away. Whether he did it or not, we'll never know but if he'd just been a regular citizen, they never would have indicted him."
